Tras ser nombrado como antesalista titular de los Reales, Wilson Betemit reconoce que se siente bien.
Sin embargo sabe que tiene una responsabilidad dentro del conjunto tras recibir la oportunidad.
"Cuando sabes que vas a estar en la alineación todos los días, te preparas más porque sabes que estarás ahí. Pero planeo entrar y hacer lo mismo que había estado haciendo antes", comentó.
El dirigente Ned Yost dijo que planea poner a Betemit a jugar cinco días de la semana.

I want to go up there, get a good a good pitch to hit and have a good at-bat.\" While he doesn\'t offer much power for a corner infielder, he has been hitting for very solid average and has shown a solid ability to get on base.
