Bueeeeno!!!.

-----------------
DH David Ortiz primarily has been a designated hitter in his 16-year major league career, including his 10 years with the Red Sox. He's eligible for free agency again at season's end, and last winter, the market for a full-time designated hitter was so depressed that he was unable to land the multiyear contract he so badly desired despite batting .309 with 29 homers, 96 RBI and a .953 on-base-plus-slugging percentage in 2011.
Part of Ortiz's problem was that, as a DH, he was dealing only with American League teams. Had he been able to draw interest from National League clubs, too, he may have had more options.
"Man, the way I feel this year, I feel like I can go play first base in the National League," Ortiz told the Boston Herald.
Ortiz played seven games at first during interleague play, but he hasn't played more than 10 games at the position since 2004.
"When I play first base, I like to joke around so I can get the pressure away from me. But it's fun to me," Ortiz said. "I'm not as bad as people think I am. People see you DHing the whole time and they think you're just going to go out there and screw things up. I'll tell you straight up: I'm not going to be all-fantasy, but you hit that ball where I can reach it, I'm going to catch it."
